Mission Statement
Founded in 2000 by three lifelong educators, non-profit Educare Services, Inc. serves preschool children and their families throughout Central California. Our programs help children learn through play with the guidance of experienced, friendly teachers and classrooms that feel like home. Our goal is to set your child up for educational success — for the rest of their life.
Educare develops successful partnerships with local schools and communities to deliver a high quality preschool experience.
The Educare Experience
Warm welcomes and open doors. Whether your child is enrolled in half or full-day programs, you can expect to see a friendly teacher’s face at drop off and pick up every day, without fail. Our staff members are fully engaged and strive to create a dialogue of open, ongoing communication through daily chats, orientations and events, regular texts, phone calls, and emails (let us know how you like to communicate!), and parent-teacher conferences twice a year. You can trust us to share important information about your child’s progress and development and want to hear from you, too.
Opportunities to engage and fun events. As an Educare family, you will have the opportunity to engage with your community throughout the year with a variety of events. Educare centers host an Annual Parent Orientation so you can get your bearings. Then, stay connected with Open Houses, Donuts with Daddies, Muffins with Mommies, Art Night, Farmers Markets, Fall Festivals, Winter Singing Celebrations, and more. If you have time, you can also join a Parent Advisory Committee to get more involved in the day to day operations at your Educare Learning Center!
Teacher and Staff philosophy. We know childcare education decisions are important and you want to leave your child in the best possible hands. Educare teachers are trained regularly and work hard to make sure each learning center is safe, clean, and that your child’s individual needs are met. Staff are caring and compassionate, getting to know children in their care so they can let you know what’s going on with your child in detail, on a regular basis.
History of Educare
Educare Services, Inc. was the idea of three Central California school administrators, who together, at the time, had over 100 years of combined experience in preschool and public education. From their careers in education, these individuals believed strongly that students who have a successful preschool experience will become better prepared students, for life. The founders knew that preschool and daytime childcare can be very expensive for families, and founded a non-profit so that the majority of Educare families can attend for free. For over 20 years, Educare has provided families and children with a high quality preschool experience, opening many learning centers across the Central Valley to meet this important need.
